cross media, installation, videoThis interactive installation was designed for the church of Krewerd and is inspired by the hagioscopes, small windows on the side of the church that gave sight on the altar.
Visitors were invited to follow a small ritual; then a acrylic glass window was handed over to them. When the windows were put in a wooden holder at the end of the aisle, a projection became visible.
The projection of branches and plants moving in the wind formed a direct link to the outside surroundings of the church, combining the inside and the outside world.
This installation was designed for Festival terug naar het begin which took place in june 2021 on several locations in the region Eemsdelta.
